The benefits of being a member of the Illinois Association of Historic Preservation Commissions include:
- A subscription to The Commissioner,
a quarterly newsletter that providing local, state and federal preservation news;
- Access to the resource Library, a collection of
materials pertinent to the endeavors of historic preservation commissions;
- Discounts on the Community Preservation Series, handbooks
that focus on specific preservation issues; and
- Workshops designed specifically for historic preservation commissions and staff.
Active
membership is open to all authorized historic preservation commissions for $50 a year. Active commissions may also apply for a reduced-rate
joint membership for both IAHPC and the Landmarks Illinois. Membership is not limited to preservation commissions.
Associate
membership is available to any group or individual interested in historic preservation commissions activities for $15.
